Words. Welcome to the new offices of Host. Australia’s largest independent agency focusing on delivering ambitious ideas to adventurous clients.

For our new space, we wanted to create an environment that was about one team all working together and the idea of ‘one big table’ was born out of that thought. We also wanted to allow people to be mobile, changing where and who they sat with easily. The big tables mean people can shuffle up and down to create space and as soon as they plug in their laptop and punch in an ID to the phone, they off and running.

From an aesthetic perspective the finishes and furniture were about a more timeless and restrained sensibility that was reflective of the period of the building and also less frenetic and transient than a lot of agencies.

We felt the people bring the energy to the building and didn’t need the environment to take on that role. Although some carefully selected artwork from one of our creative partners The Glue Society do add some humour to the place.
